I don’t know if it is an astrological thing or not, but I am getting anxious waiting to see the new film clip for Danny’s Song. I was never a patient bloke, but I also know that anything good is worth waiting for. Who am I kidding? Watch this space!
New Film Clip
June 1st, 2010Strange how things work out.
May 13th, 2010It has been awhile since I posted something here and thanks for those who have.
After the release of the Soundboard album I didn’t think I would record another album and it would have been difficult to assemble all the same people who played and worked on the album. One day I thought, when I read of Sesame Street’s 40th birthday, I thought, well I too started recording 40 years ago. I drew up a list representing some of the better things I had done in that time, and came up with ‘The Journey – 40 Years’ album. I had a song which I had recently recorded with mate Charlie Kneale in Danny’s Song as a request from another old mate and drummer Wayne Ford. We were all so pleased with the result that I thought I would send out to a few DJs for comment and it snowballed from there. It has not only been accepted very well but so far has reached No 19 on the Top 100 chart in Europe. (ECMA) It also gained a No2 in Denmark on two separate occasions.
While all this was going on friend and new Producer, Jason Albury started work on a film clip for Danny’s Song which should be completed around the end of May. It will be posted online in the usual places including this site and also will be screened on Channel 31 around June. For those on Cable, look out for the clip on the CMC. If you don’t see it, please request it.
Taking a long vacation from August and will be recording in the South of France and hope to come home with a new track.
Thanks for reading
Cheers

New Music Chart
March 15th, 2010It has been awhile since I wrote something here which I apologise for. I can report that an international notice board, based in Norway, where DJs from all over the world who play Independent Country Music artists, post their playlist on a daily basis. After quite some time, they have now formulated a ‘Top 10 Artists’ based upon the most airplays. I was, of course, delighted to find that first week in I landed a No3 spot. After four weeks I’m excited to say that I am still sitting at No4. For an old bloke, that’s cool.
Charting again
January 15th, 2010I am rather delighted to find on the International Mainstream Country Music Chart based in Holland,
TOP 40 CHART – for songs No.23 Graham Gould – Danny’s song – last charted at No.31.
TOP 200 CHART – for artists No.26 Graham Gould – last charted at No.61. If I could only thank those responsible.
Christmas Parties
December 7th, 2009Do Christmas parties bring out the best or the worst in in your work mates? Should your colleagues be embarrassed for what they do or do you ignore it?
Airplay for new single
December 7th, 2009Exciting news that the new single, Danny’s Song, is getting airplay in all parts of the world. Maybe I should convert the family’s European holiday next August/September to a musical tour. That would pay for the accommodation, wouldn’t it?
Elite Sportsmen
December 6th, 2009Why do sportsmen go silly when they are at the peak of their profession?
